The other day in Osaka, Japan, I went to a lovely lady’s food stall for some warabimochi (とろり天使のわらびもち) . Warabi-mochi is a traditional Japanese food, but it has become very popular and very booming in recent years. In this video, I would like to share a day at a woman’s Warabimochi stall, filmed closely. She was running the stall by herself and working very hard.

Warabimochi (わらびもち, warabi-mochi) is a wagashi (Japanese confection) made from warabiko (bracken starch) and covered or dipped in kinako (sweet toasted soybean flour). Warabimochi has a very sweet taste and is usually eaten with a syrup called kuromitsu (Brown sugar).
