We don’t really do vlog style videos, but we shot a bunch of stuff when we were celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary in Koh Samui, Thailand, and we wanted to put it together and share it with you before we get back to filming our regular videos. I hope you like it 😀

  1. I loved this vlog!! Was really funny to watch you guys suffer through the spice 😂 I used to be a lakhon dancer when I was younger!! It was so much fun!

  2. Anyone know the name of dish Martina is eating att 14.01? I looks so fucking good and would love to try and make it!

  3. Nooooo! Those chilies are hell!!! I only add like 3 to my soup!! You guys are hella brave !!

  4. What I can tell you that those little red or orange chillies in South-East Asia are really really spicy! But you know what? It is really great if you chop it and add to your instant ramen~ you should try it

  5. Try McDonald's New Southwest Salad. Oh, and another thing, Panda Express chow mein is… the best (depending on who cooks it). The rolls, oh the rolls, the egg rolls, they bring the flavor of sausage to the chicken of vegetables. The day of a fallen egg roll, is a question to consider, but only for a moment. To eat the filth of accumulated dropage, must taste of questionable growth. Salad's still good tho.

  6. Hey! Isnt Thailand so rad? We just got back from spending a lot of time there and traveling all over the country. I found your YouTube reliving my time there while editing my vlogs for Thailand. I subscribed to you :). Maybe we'll run into one another someday in the world!

  7. you don't bring back to the noodle to the back of your throat…. you're doing it wrong, hahaha

  8. Hey Simon and Martina! Just wanted to say you guys do such a great job and put so much work to make your videos and that I find you both truly inspiring!!

The reason I’m commenting on this video in particular is because I’ve been watching your videos for almost 4 years now and you both have inspired me so much. I’m so EXCITED to say that a group of friends and I are going to be staying in Bangkok for a whole MONTH while on a missions trip to serve in the Deaf community there!

You both are part of the reason why I’ve started venturing out of my safety zones when it comes to trying new foods and going to new places. I also appreciate the openness of you both about dealing with invisible illnesses and mental disorders. I’ve suffered from horrid anxiety for a long time as well as depression and have recently found the courage to talk to my doctor about how to treat it. So I just really want to say thank you to you both for inspiring me to have courage and confront these things and take back control of my life!!

Sorry for the long post but you and your work mean so much to me!!!

    Sending love from Arizona!!!

  9. 7:45 "It's hot in Thailand. It's a lot hotter in the kitchens! It's mega crazy!!" 😂 According to my friend that studied abroad there, eating out is the norm, hence the street food culture is very vibrant

  10. PSA: you can recreate these recipes at home if you visit your local Asian market! Except the mini eggplants, I found everything that was used in the recipe (including the giant shrimp) !

  11. If june 25th is yalls wedding anniversary then we share the anniversary. I got married in 2016 tho so going on 3 years here!

  13. you guys are the sort of people i want to meet when on vacation. the how to weird out strangers water ballet is priceless.

  14. Regarding countries like Thailand, I just cannot trust a culture that would bring themselves to eat crazy spicy food on a boiling day. Something is not right.
