Hotel started out fine but the bathroom/shower situation was just crazy. I will never imagine paying $100/night hotel that does not allowed a proper shower. Thanks to this ride-along content, I felt your struggle and showered a little bit longer today.

A couple of years ago I went on a trip to Japan with 12 people (it was as intense as it sounds) and I was the only vegetarian. Mr. T's saved me!! I was so happy to visit it in the train station and airport. Funnily enough, the Asian market I visit in San Diego imports the packaged Mr. T's tan tan men instant ramen, so I can still enjoy it. Loved this spooky video!!

British guy here – The verb poodle, to poodle about, means to aimlessly do something in a leisurely fashion.
Really hard to prove the origin like most random verbs but I once heard it derived from people aimlessly and leisurely walking poodles (which were the fashionable dog at apparent time) around parks etc…
Hence to poodle.

After watching I felt kinda bad for you guys had that bath situation. I think in that old type of onsen ,which doesn’t have a shower inside ,you could’ve just done Kakeyu before you get into the bathtub.
Kakeyu: First, gently douse yourself with a bucket full of bath water outside of the tub. This is called "kakeyu". There are two reasons this is practiced: 1) to wash off excessive sweat off of your body, 2) to let your body prepare for full soak in the temperature of your bath water. Work your way up from your toes to your hands, then eventually to your torso with two or three scoops of kakeyu.)
And as a Japanese I don’t fully agree with that “no tattoo allowed in onsen” culture anymore since there are lots of tourists from other countries. I want everyone to enjoy our onsen culture☺️
