However, whenever you hear the name Hokkaido, you may imagine yourself skiing through a snowy mountain or thinking about a place that covers in thick snow most of the time of the year. But in my mind, another Hokkaido exists, and whenever I close my eyes, I can feel myself in a huge purple lavender field or walking wondrously through the middle of the vast patchwork field. One of my favorite trips so far has been the Hokkaido Summer Trip.
The far-flung snow-covered lands of winter turn into a colorful fairyland when summer comes. There are many places to visit here in summer but today I will share my 4-day itinerary with you.
