Its amazing that people haven't left these gloomy, wet, dark and cold undeveloped places and moved to live in nicer more modern places/economies……it's not the 1800's anymore, mobility is easy these days.
That train to ferry walk of 20 minutes could be brutal if hauling luggage or in bad weather.
