This time, I will take a walk in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Isahaya City is located in the central part of Nagasaki Prefecture. It is the third largest city in Nagasaki Prefecture after Nagasaki City and Sasebo City. It is the 14th largest city in Kyushu.
Isahaya City is surrounded by the Ariake Sea, Omura Bay, and Tachibana Bay, and serves as a transportation node within Nagasaki Prefecture.
Since 1989, the Isahaya Bay land reclamation project by the national government has resulted in one of the few plains in Nagasaki Prefecture, and this reclaimed land is the largest grain-growing area in the prefecture.

今回は、長崎県諫早市を散策します。
諫早市は、長崎県の中央部にある都市です。長崎市、佐世保市に次ぎ長崎県内では3番目に大きな都市です。九州では第14位の規模となっています。
諫早市は周囲を有明海、大村湾、橘湾の3つの海に囲まれ、長崎県内における交通の要所となっています。1989年から国による諫早湾干拓事業が行われたことで、長崎県では数少ない平野地形が広がっており、この干拓地は県下最大の穀倉地帯となっています。
