今回は、夜の長崎県長崎市の長崎駅周辺を散策します。
長崎は九州北西岸に位置し、大きな港があります。
長崎港を取り囲む丘の斜面には、建物が立ち並んでおり、坂道や階段の多い街としても有名です。
「鎖国」体制であった江戸時代には、国内唯一の江戸幕府公認の国際貿易港である出島を持つ港町でした。
このため、出島跡を初めとして、異国情緒に満ちた港町として有名です。
