Flying into the Salt Lake International Airport gives you a rare bird’s eye view of Salt Lake, but we’re here to give you a unique view of our beautiful city. No US state capital can boast the same kinds of scenic views and backdrops that set the stage of Salt Lake. With the city sitting on the foothills of the iconic Wasatch mountains, and epic sunsets glowing off the Great Salt Lake, its hard to ignore the beauty of the Salt Lake Valley.

Beyond being a gateway to “The Greatest Snow On Earth”, home to the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, and being the basecamp for more than 6 national parks within driving distance, Salt Lake is a burgeoning urban city complete with top-shelf dining, best-of off-broadway plays and arts, and more. Whether you’re looking to bring your meeting or convention to Salt Lake, or you’re coming for a family ski vacation, our city will surprise you. Come with business or fun in mind, and you’ll leave with plans to return.

  5. I reckon Salt Lake City would have to be one of the most beautiful cities in the whole of the US. I was just browsing Mario Capecchi Drive on Street View and the views of the mountains were just phenomenally spectacular. It reminds me a lot of the city of Adelaide in South Australia as the roads are very wide and straight, and there are tram lines running through the middle of many of them. Salt Lake City is a lot greener however, and there seems to be a lot more two/three-storey housing. Adelaide is very horizontal for a city of its size. Meanwhile, there are some small villages in South Australia that are very much completely at ground level and sets of stairs don't even exist.

  6. I lived in downtown Salt Lake city for 2 months for work, was suppose to be 8 months.
    I LOVED EVERY DAY THERE!!!
I was devastated when I was forced to come back home to Louisiana. Salt Lake City is a FANTASTIC city to live!!! I'd go back to live there IN A MINUTE!!!

  7. Who shot & edited this video? This is some of the best footage I have ever seen of Salt Lake City. Makes me even more proud to call this place home. Well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

  8. Lived here my whole life. Always want to go to SLC and walk around. It has a very calming, inviting, and warm atmosphere. During the summer months, you get a nice feel for the city. Delicious BBQ restaurants, City Creek mall, and Abravenal Hall. During the Winter you get Christmas lights strung inside and outsides buildings, Lights on homes. A nice Hot Chocolate while walking through downtown or discovering the past at This Is The Place monument can be the most relaxing and adventurous things to do in Salt lake city.

Park city is also very nice. Beautiful Resort Town. Not many people living their gives it a crowded, yet relaxing feel too the city. During the winter, with hundreds if not thousands of people skiing during the day, and walking through the city at night, gives it such a beautiful atmosphere.

  9. There is something very magical about Salt Lake City. I’ve visited there on several occasions and stayed at the Grand Hotel. I love the city, I love the people, and I love the free Trams. Thank you SLC 👍🇺🇸
