One of Tokyo’s largest train stations and a hub for the shinkansen (the Bullet Train), Shinagawa Station is also home to several office buildings, residences, a shopping mall and a small park.
To be fair there isn’t anything special about this place that you would not find anywhere else, however millions of people, tourists or not, are passing through this station without really taking the time to discover it. Today’s video tries to right this wrong and our camera will slowly guide you around Shinagawa station and its many faces.

  1. Know one thing for sure, at the 3:15 mark, I wouldnt have a clue first on how to use one of those I guess they are ticket machines, and secondly, that HUGE map above them, guess that shows where each train is located at the time right or is that map for something else???

  2. Love Shinagawa station , it always felt like home when I stayed there upto a week or so ago , miss it !

  3. I miss those ticket machines. It was an adventure trying to figure them out even after pressing English. Lol

    I can't wait to see Japan again after the pandemic goes away. The shinkansen is so fun to ride on. 💕
