  2. Everything looked delicious. I'd like to try that sample plate that Satoshi got. And since I love taro those rolls looked yummy too. Thank for sharing guys! Take care.😊

  3. Love when you guys come back to Hawaii, never forget where you’re from. Oahu, HI is my home 🌺 love your videos ❣️

  4. im glad u enjoyed your hawaiian style food at chais our family makes our own hawaiian food laulaus , kalua pork, lomi salmon gotta have poi , squid luau, poke or sashimi. chais not authentic he puts his spin on it too fancy but im glad u liked it. us locals like homecooked hawaiian food cant wait until the next celebration. aloha

  5. If I ever get back to Waikiki, I'd love to check this place out! 🤙🏄 In the meantime, I'm going to go on a hunt to find pipikaula and taro bread with lilikoi butter. We have a large Hawaiian community here in Las Vegas, so I think I may be able to find some of these dishes. They look so good – must try!!

  6. Yum! Wow I didn’t know there was a Hawaiian food place In Waikiki! I love Hawaiian food! I thought the closest place was Ono Hawaiian food on Kapahulu Ave.

  7. Whoa! Everything looks so ‘ono! I’m saving this video for when we can go back! I’d totally eat everything there!

  8. It's so messed up how expensive they have made what is supposed to be affordable food, as well as how little they give for the price! That is not original Hawaiian style at all!

  9. Looks delicious!! The poke with the wantan chips, never thought of serving poke like that. And I would definitely try the platter

  10. The historic place to get real hawaiian food is Helena's in Kalihi. Since your in Waikiki, these items are outrageously overpriced. I would never never ever ever pay $15 for 1 lau lau!!!

  11. $45 for the Hawaiian platter and $15 for one laulau? That is way too expensive. I can make all those items on the platter and laulau for less than $10 per person. Helena's is the best though if you're looking for traditional mea'ai Hawai'i (Hawaiian food) 👌 and you get more for your dollar than at Chai's.

  12. It's Satoshi's Hawaiian Platter that does it for me! I ate one of the foods on that platter almost every day as a kid. We had one-finger poi usually, and if I'm not remembering wrong, our chicken long rice had a little shōyu in it. Haupia was my favorite dessert. Thank you for showing us Kalo, guys! My heart is very glad seeing your mom looking so well and happy, Shinichi!! ❤️

  13. Overpriced Hawaiian food from a Thai chef just doesn't seem right. I am sure the food was delicious, but….

  14. Wow! Shinichi, your mother looks so beautiful. What does she use on her skin, she's glowing! <3

  15. A bit pricey for locals, but if you're in Waikiki and cannot travel to someplace like Waiahole Poi Factory, go for it. Like anywhiere else, things are more expensive in the touristy areas. Chai's food are delicious.

  16. – — 36 $ for that chicken dish ?!!?!! – – THAT is INSANE ! !! – – – WAY too crazy expensive ! – – and 45 $ !!!! – – – For that tiny bit of NOTHING ?!!!! – – – I don't care HOW good it tastes !! – — – What nerve some restaurants have !!!! – — – Esp. when most of us cannot afford a normal priced meal at a restaurant ! !! – —– – I did not think of you both as the snob type…..but now I am not so sure …..my family and friends are shocked and appalled at the fact you both would dine there – – – – Who do you think your audience is ?! – —- The rich and famous ?!! – — – wow…… very disappointing – – – – You both must make way too much on your channel……so much that you can throw it away like that ……… wow – –

  17. The poi with salmon mix does not look any stranger than refritos with chunky salsa.

  18. Hi guys! That’s a great place to go if you’re in Waikiki where a lot of visitors do stay and maybe next time you can also mention the old stand ins to like Highway inn and taniokas and Helena’s. That food looks great! Just we know there are other places to 🙂 for a little cheaper to.

  19. That's good but why they're is no game for Taoist…like Wii Tao….or Qigong…where you need to do all your routines as Wii dance….as fast as you can to remember

  20. Loving all your island content <3 What a great restaurant, so nice seeing you all together!

  21. I MISS HAWAII!😭
    My mouth is watering!
I feel like I’m there, wish I could enjoy the food, you guys describe the flavors so well, I can almost taste it!
    Mahalo❣️

  22. Sure is pricey Hawaiian, maybe quality-wise, ambience and being in Waikiki; Nice to check it out

  23. Satoshi needs to know my/most local people's food hack! $20 -$any amount cash in a card & it's literally a free for all. No worries, just try it🤭
