  1. Oh, what a beautiful, delicious day! All the food looked amazing, and your tan, smiling faces communicated what an enjoyable experience you were having.
Inarizushi is a nostalgic favorite for me. I was surprised the Okinawan version had so much umami without cooking the aburaage in the sweetened soy and dashi broth! The tempura looked yummy. The sata andagi made my mouth water. And, the tropical fruit shave ice was the ultimate for me.
There's no doubt Okinawa is a happy place for you both! Please make time to go relax there (no filming necessary) whenever you need a shot of paradise. Love to you both. โคโค

  2. How do you guys do it? How do you eat all that delicious food and not gain weight? I love all your channels Sinishi please keep the videos coming. Greetings, peace and love from Pittsfield Massachusetts. Joe

  3. Very nice indeed. ๐Ÿ˜‹ But you wonder how much of Okinawa food is influenced by Chinese food and especially American food (the Americans ruled the Ryukyu Islands from 1945 to 1972 under military and civilian administrations).

  4. What a successful journey this series is, so many wonderful place to visit thanks to your amazing videos. But the food choices were amazing Okinawa has so many varieties of local dishes its foodie heaven delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹.

  6. Okinawan batter is more like cake batter or a watery andagi batter. A lot of the old time okazuyas in Hawaii used to be that style. Too bad most of them have closed due to lack of interest from the other family members to continue the business.

  7. I'm always surprised by how much Japanese tourists love to go to Honolulu when Okinawa is just an hour away and offers most of what Honolulu has, but with better food.

  8. The batter on the tempura looks similar to the batter we tend to use in Australia for fried fish/seafood.
All the food in this video looks so amazing

  9. Wow Shinichi And Satoshi This Okinawa Tempura Food Video Truly Is Beautiful Especially The Tempura Green Bean And The Shrimp Tempura And The Most Iconic 1 Of A Kind Pineapple Mango Dessert Is Absolutely Wonderful And I Must Tell You Guys That This Video Made Me So Hungry For Something Incredibly Special Which I Did Have Some Of My Mom's Specialty Homemade Beef And Turkey Meatloafs And I Put A Generous Amount Of Mustard On Top Of Both Of Them And To Go With Them I Also Had Some Potato Chips Think Of It As A Classic Dish Of Meat And Potatoes In The USA And Japan As Well But With Meatloaf And Some Salted Potato Chip Snack Side By Side Both On One Plate. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ†โญ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

  10. The tempura is extremely similar to how we do it in the UK, like practically identical…but a lot of it comes from the chip shop lol Still delicious, though. We call it "battered" more often than tempura, but some shops carry the tempura name in their products to sound healthier I guess lol

  11. Watching Satoshi eating mango always puts a big smile on my face! I hope we get to see you travel to Okinawa more this year, and maybe try some crafts like pottery? ๐Ÿ˜€

  12. I really enjoy watching you guys, thank you for sharing your adventures ๐Ÿ’‹ Maybe in the future you could do a โ€œ Vegan in Japanโ€ adventure. I wonder how Japan deals with different food needs.

  13. Thank you for these videos! I'm so happy to see more of Okinawa ๐Ÿ˜Š I hope I can go back one day!!

  14. Thank you guys so much, you bring joy to my home. I'm 42 yrs old, and we have no kids in the house. They become lonely and I can't leave the house due to caretaking. Please make more videos. I prefer the walk tours, yet the food reviews are wonderful.

  15. Go in the Fall! It can be so beautiful then – no heat and often no or low humidity. I want to save this video for our next visit. I want to go to all these food stops! Everything looked amazing! Thank you so much for taking us all along.

  16. You both look so happy and healthy it warms my heart and makes me smile.

  17. Okinawa-style tempura looks a lot like what I remember getting from okazu-ya in Hawaii. They traveled better for takeout because they lacked the lacy shell.

  18. Island tofu gives the Inari a different flavor than Mainland. That particular place has been my favorite since they first opened. Thank you for the video.
