Water lanterns festival Washington DC 2019 which was held on August 3th, 2019 at National Harbor. It was such a beautiful event. I enjoy every moment that I was watching flickering lanterns floating on Potomac River. I’ll definitely do it again when the come back to Washington DC. It looks pretty with the lanterns in the water. The crowd though! So many people! On a personal note I really don't understand that people still do this… So much plastic pollution…
OH this is so nice to see a latern festival.Never seen one in my entire lif e i mean in live.I would rather see in person and i would love to make my own lantern and it seems so calm and chilling.
We love food trucks. You are a much better artist than I am, when I draw a smiley face it is not even round, hahaha! April likes the Winnie the Pooh lantern–so fun. How much did it cost for this festival?
Never visited similar festival but it looks really imposing with all those lanterns on the water surface when the sun comes down. Cool place with great atmosphere. I always hate when I have to wait for so long to buy something at festivals 🙂 but there are a lot of people so no wonder 🙂
I really enjoyed the outdoor performances towards the beginning the video. And I have seen lanterns on the start. This is really beautiful. Does this usually happen yearly?
