In 2007, Singapore Airlines became the first airline to fly the A380. From order to delivery, bringing the world’s largest passenger aircraft into service was no easy task.

From the complex challenges of preparing airports for this large passenger aircraft to logistical challenges such as creating ways to deliver food safely onto the aircraft, the experience was enriching and made us proud to be pioneers, a testimony to Singapore Airlines’ commitment to innovation.

Watch as members of the executive Singapore Airlines team behind the global effort – Mak Swee Wah, Tan Pee Teck, Mervyn Sirisena, Captain Robert Ting and Marcus Ma – reflect on their experiences with the world’s first A380.

Today, Singapore Airlines operates the superjumbo to various destinations across its network, including Sydney, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, London, Paris, Zurich, and Frankfurt.

  1. Why do Singapore Airlines consistently offer great service in the air but appalling service on the ground?

SQ Air have recently tried to hide behind " latent technical defects" to not fulfil their legal obligations to Article 6 of EC Regulation 261/2004

Yet when I asked for a simple explanation of the technical fault (which you had apparently "carefully reviewed the circumstances again for" ) you fail to respond

Slow email responses, never offering a customer services phone number. Poor.

  2. Singapore Airlines really did a good job in every parts to make sure passengers have a pleasant flight. That's why the best airlines! =)

  3. The flight take off is excellent with proportionate level from the ground compared to the present situation clearance is perfect t

  4. I don't know why that they keep saying that this is the world first a380 it's not it it's singapore air lines first a380.
