In the late afternoon, I walked from Yamashita Park to Osanbashi.
Yamashita Park is a long park along the port of Yokohama, with benches lined up toward the sea, and many people spend their time relaxing while looking at the sea.
The road on the inland sea side of Yamashita Park is far from the road, so you can take a walk while feeling the gentle sound of the waves and the sea breeze.
There is a large rose garden “Future Rose Garden” in the park, and about 3,000 roses are in full bloom in spring and autumn.
In addition, the nationally designated important cultural property “NYK Hikawamaru” is moored, and there are tourist spots such as “Yokohama Marine Tower” within the distance of the park.
At Osanbashi, there were no large cruise ships entering or leaving the port this time, but in addition to the terminal, you can go out to the rooftop for free to see the scenery, take a walk, and enjoy shopping at the facility.
The rooftop of the terminal building seems to have the image of a loose wave swell when viewed from the side. It seems that the whales are floating on the surface of the water.
You can also see the panoramic view of Yokohama Port, the buildings of Minatomirai, the Bay Bridge, Hikawa Maru and the Marine Tower.
