I’ve been asked a few times for a rundown of my Triumph Bonneville T120 and all the modifications I’ve made, so here you are…
If you’d like a list of all the parts I’ve fitted, you can find one at www.classic-rides.co.uk/the-bike
I realise I forgot to mention a few bits in the video, so I’ve listed the missing parts here for those that are interested:
* The front fork springs have been changed to TEC progressive springs with adjustable top nuts.
* Motone Up-and-Over bar risers.
* Dresser bars, these are Chinese made ebay specials, they’re holding up extremely well, not a spot of rust yet.
* Motone Pannier Rails
* K&N air filter
* Motone Extended Gear Shifter Peg
* TEC adjustable gear shift lever.

Hi classic rides, I think all you have done to your bike really makes your bike look really great and the saddle looks great and really looks good and have you thought to put crash protection on to protect the engine . The exhaust looksreally great and the sound would be really great sound to , great vid and look forward to the next vid
Hi Matt
Very interesting video . Took your advice and got myself some pro prep. Now I don’t own a Bonnie myself, but find increasingly tempted to get one. Couple of questions….do you find maintaining the chain a pain due to the position of the exhaust. Presume you have to remove the end can to properly get at the chain ? Also what mounting system do you use for the panniers and are the bags waterproof ?
Ride safe 👍
Great to get that feedback on the modifications you've done on your beautiful t120. Have a good ride
Hi Matt great insight into ur bike👍 I have the same issues with the motone indicators filling up with water, I also find them dim, may change them to LED soon.
Also plug for your bags just bought the sling bag and the pannier for my street scrambler and absolutely love them. The sling is turning into my go to bag for everything.
Try Thornton hundred for a rad guard my street scrambler has 1 and my wife’s street twin we have no issues with them so far and only £50👍.
Ride safe brother.
Great Video Matt
I’m a fan of Moto Customs too and don’t you just love the sound of the twin 😉👍🏍
Yes a great looking bike.👍 The Avon Spirit tyres are brilliant, have them on my tiger 1050 sport and previous tiger. Great winter and summer tyres for two euro touring and out for a blast.
Great video Matt. Your bike is a beaut and the mods you have fitted have enhanced what Triumph have done so well from the factory.
Nice waffling Mat,& interesting to hear about your bike mods,& was a nice change to hear your engine noise & the vance & hines sound great,i rode a speed twin demo with vance & hines exhaust from w.yorks triumph a few weeks ago(,whilst my street triple rs was having it's first svc),& absolutely loved the sound & the torque of that engine,safe riding 👍
Hi Mat, nice to see you again, thank God I have my wife who translates most of your talk for me, even if I don't understand the language very well, your videos speak for themselves…, for me they are excellent. good weekend to you and all your followers. A hug
Great video Matt, really interesting to see the mods you’ve made. The bike looks superb, you’ve not overdone it with the mods. I’m very tempted to get the pannier bags to compliment the tail bag I bought from yourself for my speed master 🤔
Loved this one but you forgot your Motone up and over handlebar risers!😀
Nice video, thanks for the information on the bike bits. Looking forward to your next video.
Hi Matt, thanks for the video, really enjoyed the walk around of all your mods. It’s one of the thing’s that makes Bonnies so nice, the amount of customisation we can do. It’s nice to have some background info on where you are riding too. Would be nice to hear about your experience with the t120 as well, not a review as such but what ownership has been like, what you like or don’t like etc. have a great weekend 🏍
Beautiful bike thanks for the review.
You have a beautiful looking Bonnie and the modifications you’ve made to the bike actually finish it off lovely.
Have you told Motone about the parts you’ve had fitted that have weathered?
I hope they can sort that out for you.
Great episode Matt.
Thank you
I will get this year, or maybe next one a T120 and your video will be really helpful
Yes, the missing video we all wanted to watch, the transformation of a "normal" T120 to a real beauty! Thanks Matt!! 👍👍
Nice one Matt, nice upgrades….
Great guided tour round your bike Matt, regarding your phone mount checkout THORNTON HUNDRED MOTORCYCLES video the ULTIMATE Triumph phone mount, (1 year ago) they have designed 1 that replaces the handlebar clamp & looks really neat.
Looking forward to more videos in the future…Les
Thanks for all the tips n ideas.
perfect timing – last week i asked myself, which parts you choosed for your beauty. then i found the list on your website. but this kind of presentation is much better – thanks a lot. greetings from vienna.
that is a great bike Matt. I absolutely wouldn't mind to be the owner of it
Another great video Matt. Where did you source the SC fork protectors? I’ve been wanting scrap my fork gators bet all the protectors I can find require disassembly to install. Thanks
great looking bike
Hey Matt watch it a few times now, really interesting to see all the changes, a lot more than I thought.
