Everything you need to know to ride the Subway in LA! Most people aren’t even aware that Los Angeles has a subway, but it does! And it’s a pretty good subway too! Well… provided it goes where you want to go. LA doesn’t have a very large Subway network, but where it does run it is clean, efficient, and pretty cheap to ride.

Is there a station close by the Westin on S. Figueroa St.
Now there 2.00 Bucks Tap Cards 😃
Does this metro actually get you anywhere besides downtown? From what I've seen, everyone in LA lives in a random suburban sprawl with no transit in sight.
My lay out is… i figured i can take a 20 min bus ride to my hotel in inglewood from LAX…but from the hotel I want to go to santa monica pier and the hollywood highland center…possibly down to manhattan beach area too. Would you say I would be better off using the metro or doing a Lyft or Uber since I will not be renting a car???
L.A.'s subways are surprisingly delightful.
do tell me over here in one line …how can we reach to universl studios hollywood , walk of fmae and disneyland using a metro !!! Thanks
i have watched your other videos too !!!
Do I go up a level or down a level if I’m transferring from blue line to red line? Also, are there elevators, because I’ll be taking my bicycle (: thanks in advance to anyone who chimes in!
Can I use the app in my smartphone? Hoy good does it work?
Los Angeles is such a large city very much spread out in so many directions , that is why cars are still the preferred method of transportation. There are so many freeways all over the Metro area so you can drive just about anywhere you want to go . But yea, the Sub Way in LA is very nice modern and clean.
They smell like pee and poop don't EVER SIT ON THE BUS OR THE TRAIN cause a homeless person just sat there and has deseases like hepetitis…staft infections and other sick deseases that they carry from sleeping on the streets.
Specially bed bugs not recommend riding the bus ride a bike
I think you should also make a video for how to ride the BART, Caltrain, Muni in SF and other
transit systems as someone who lives in the Bay Area
the blue line and red line are the weirdest trains to ride, dirty and have loonies on them, others playing loud music, some meth or weed smoking, it's an experience. and why doesn't LA metro have public bathrooms? so uncivilized.
From Los Angeles California resident that's! Not what it looks and smells like he didn't show the homeless man shitting on himself.
My friend just moved to Pennsylvania for carrier advantage and he asked me for a picture of Los Angeles because he missed L.A ❤ I'm going to send him a picture of a homeless man taking a shit 💩 . Lol
Hi thanks for th video. Can get those cards at lax?
“Clean, fast, modern and efficient” how many millions did they pay you cuz that’s cap 😭 I like riding in Metro Rail but they’re definitely not clean they’re always delayed they’re kinda old especially the red/purple line and as for efficiency goes well it’s alright 🤷🏻♂️ but that’s pretty much it 😭
How is the subway so clean but the streets are dirty
old and beautiful
Ive been to LA without using a car and i can say that there are many LA neighborhoods where subways and trains are easily accessible…Not as good as cities like NY or Chicago but enough public transit where a car is not needed. But the key is, you have to pick the right area to stay in..And there are PLENTY…Not just the down town area of the city…From what I understand, many more expansions and train lines are being constructed as we speak and in the next 5 to 10 years, MOST of the city will have access to trains….I cant help but to laugh at the morons that claim that "You NEED a Car to Live in LA"……These people either have never used public transit or are smoking that good sh*t
