Budleigh Salterton is a small town on the coast in East Devon, England, 15 miles south-east of Exeter. The town lies within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Budleigh Salterton lies on the South West Coast Path, with clifftop routes eastwards to Sidmouth and westwards to Exmouth. The pebble beach and cliffs are part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site.

The South West Coast Path is England’s longest waymarked long-distance footpath and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles (1,014 km), running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset.

The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site on the English Channel coast of southern England. It stretches from Exmouth in East Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset, a distance of about 96 miles (154 km), and was inscribed on the World Heritage List in mid-December 2001.

    This looks liked its been filmed with a steadicam as there's nothing worse in using a hand-held camera whilst walking and filming – can make the viewing unpleasant, but this is very easy on the eye especially as I love Budleigh Salterton. A very quaint and quiet Devon coastal village with an outstanding beach and delightful promenade.

    I visited Budleigh today and the scenery of the jurrasic coast was amazing and the pebble beach was beautiful and clean and had a long paddle in the sea and then walked to the town centre and looked around the shops I had a great experience there and nice weather
