Nara Dreamland is an abandoned theme park in Nara, Japan. It closed its doors in 2006, due to falling visitor numbers.

Today, visitors need to climb over two barbed wire fences and hide from the security guard if they want to avoid a fine. It’s fun!

  1. fuck off Joe I want to be an abandoned amusement park freak in peace

  2. For the people who keep saying this place is haunted…It's not…Go do your research.

  3. The contrast between the past (what it used to look like) and the present abandoned and left to rot) is pretty deep. Short but quite moving video.

  4. The song used in this video is called "Desert Transfer" by BURO.
It's used in the hour long Documentary titled "Princes of the Yen"
I tried looking for the track on Youtube and elsewhere, but my luck toughened out.
Does anyone know where I can find the track/song?

  5. So sad they demolished the place. It's a really cool piece of history, but they thought it made Japan look bad, so they tore it down. What a shame
