Today’s walk is in Chuo-cho, Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture. It is a city with a Japanese castle.
It is about 30 km from the center of Niigata City and about 360 km from Tokyo.
It is a walk in the entertainment district where bars gather in Shibata City.
Roads turn red as water comes out of the roads in the area, the snow melts, and the components of the water make the roads red.

Shibata City is located in the northern part of the Echigo Plain (Niigata Plain) and is the core city of Agakita, which is adjacent to the prefectural capital Niigata City. It prospered as a castle town of 100,000 stones during the Edo period, and it still retains its historical heritage throughout the town.
There are plenty of tourism resources such as Tsukioka Onsen, which is famous all over the country, and the rich nature from the mountains to the sea that you can enjoy throughout the four seasons. It is also one of the prefecture’s leading producers of agricultural products such as Koshihikari and asparagus, receiving the blessings of the fertile land of the Kaji River, which has the cherry blossoms that were once said to be the best in the Orient.
Shibata City is a city where the atmosphere unique to a castle town and the warmth of people heal visitors.
