  2. I have got to think "how ironic is it, when you are on a cruise ship, that litterally has hundreds of things to do, and entertain yourself with, but, you watch two or three asshats running to catch the boat…..

  3. The passengers who are late they are late for everything even their own funeral.

  4. Punctuality and sense of awareness are just extinct or non existent to some people. Therefore missing your "valued" cruise ship means nothing me.

  5. Little fact: airplanes can leave the gate and come back, this happens to me once due to a mechanical problem.

  6. Out of curiosity, were both ships in the first video Oasis Class ships? It kinda seems that way. At least a bit.

Also, my family and I were almost 30-35 minutes late in Cozumel from our last cruise on July 16, 2022, when the “fast ferry” that goes from the mainland of Mexico back to Cozumel took its sweet time getting back to Cozumel island and the cruise port. Luckily, everyone was able to board fine, because almost everyone was on a RCL excursion, but it still was nerve wracking knowing if we were actually able to get onboard, even with an RVL excursion having run late.

  7. These other passangers are annoying and childish as fuck.. of course in some/most cases with reason but how do they know the reason the people are late? Maybe someone got sick? or lost something? a child got lost? transportation failed? There are many reasons.. Grow up.

  8. My anxiety would never let this happen. I would have to be back at least an hour before the ship leaves. Hell, I'd lose sleep the night before thinking about the ship leaving without me, checking and rechecking times, and making sure I don't go too far away from the port, etc. This would be the last thing I would procrastinate about due to the fear of being left behind/stranded. I already do this with my online college which is in a different time zone.
Thankfully though, I don't want to go on a cruise ship since I'm not a fan of the ocean.

  9. People like that are ignorant of other people. It can happen to anyone once but if you constantly do it then you're just plain ignorant other peoples time and you deserve to be left behind at your own expense.

  10. Guaranteed, the narcissist's will be left behind every time. The whole ship must revolve around them and they are the ones strolling.

  11. In Skagway, I climbed up 3,000 feet on a nearby mountain, got lost on a poorly marked trail, and arrived 10 minutes after
the all aboard time. After doing plenty of running to get back to the ship ASAP, thank G-d there was a line of people
waiting to get on board, and I got into the line. I feel for these people who also did the pier running, especially the people
who were embarrassed and locked into their cabin for the rest of the cruise.

  12. Typical asses like it will wait. Japanese bullet train runs on time it has a Schule that it's latest run was 2 seconds late.

  13. I'm a simple man. I enjoy simple things. If I'm told to click like and subscribe, I dislike.

  14. I think the cruise line does those people that missed the boat a solid. Getting their IDs and documents so they can get a flight.

I live by the saying, don’t make other peoples problems, your problem.

  15. I once took a cruise with my family in St. Martin, Nasua, Florida trip. I did not live in Florida at the time, and our start and end ports were in New York. One day on this cruise, we were in Florida, and because my siblings and I were maybe 12 with my single mother, we chose to spend the day at Sea World. It was a pretty great day, but really hot, and as the day carried on, we had to weigh what we wanted to do before we left and start wondering when we had to leave to make the ship on time. We hear a few other passengers leave early (we did not know it was early, so we thought we were late,) and as we made it to the exit, we had to stop at the gift shop first. We knew the last tram would not leave for another 28 minutes or so, and so as we were indecisive, it gave us a chance to look while my mom planned. We got these huge stuffed animals, mine a seal that could make up one-half of my twin-sized bed from head to toe, and my siblings got these giant toys too. My mom never does that, but she knew we would not be kids forever, so she allowed it once. It was awesome. So there we were on the tram with these giant stuffed animals trying to keep them contained for the other passengers, and we have to stop in traffic for an accident up ahead. We had to wait a half hour. We nearly missed our ship as we were on the last tram for the night. As some of the last passengers (yes, there were other late passengers almost an hour behind us they waited for) had to stop us in security because of the toys and thought we hid something illegal inside of them. After running tests on each toy and finding there were no drugs or weapons in them, they let us on board, and we got lots of questions and looks, but we held up our prizes of the day proudly as we got on the ship and that was an end to a chaotic evening.
Five days or so later, we were in Atlantis, Bahamas. This story was worse. We spent the day at the resort and explored. It was great! I went on the tube slide with the sharks with my mom, and we started the day with a dolphin excursion that went well enough. (A dolphin slammed its tail into my ribs sideways while we were swimming with them. It really did not like me, though I gave it space and did nothing to upset it.) (I was okay.) Anyway, as the day continued, we were heading out to one of the last trams to take us back to the boat after my sister hit her head on the concert when a wave rolled over her in the lazy river off her tube. We had to help her with some blood, headache, and my mom's injury (which remained for a month, but that is another story.) We had a pretty great day despite the injuries from rides and an angry dolphin, and we all really loved the trip regardless. After these incidents, the staff assumed we were guests and helped us to the hotel, which was where my mom thought the tram was meeting us. We were wrong. Basically, we found the hotel-casino, and outside the doors to the front where cars would bring guests, we realized our situation by speaking to some of the staff. We missed the trams half an hour ago and were in the wrong spot. We paid for everything in advance and had no money with us, except for maybe $15 left for food. As my mom panics and I panic, the staff helps us get an uber that is set to bring us to the port. The driver got us there for $12, and I must tell you that was an adventure. I don't know the details exactly because my siblings and I kept our eyes shut and heads between our knees with this man's driving. From what I do know, he would have gotten a lot of tickets in our states if he drove like that again, very sharp turns with no brake, we ran over a mailbox, and my brother says we went through someone's yard due to the broken fence, but still managed to get there on time. We get to the port after being told we were late, and we made it on time and set off 20 minutes later with sunset. Please be responsible on these trips! Even with good intentions, anything can happen, and it is advised to plan in advance with all the information rather than simply planning to take the last one and make it. We did aim for the second to last one, but that only happened on the other stops. I love cruises, I have been on two in my life, and they never get old- each day is an adventure without knowing what kind when you get out of bed.

  16. No ship should wait even 1 millisecond. If you can't be adult enough to manage your time ashore, that's your problem. 3,000 other passengers were able to do it…

  17. I'll throw something down at them for making me late for my next destination.
