Today, I fly to Okinawa for the first. After checking in and giving you a little tour of the hostel I’m staying at, I take you around with me as I explore the city of Naha for the first time. So far it’s not exactly typical beautiful Okinawa weather at the moment because I decided to fly to Okinawa during the rainy season, genius. I still was able to get out and find some cool spots, especially the two places I stopped for a bite to eat. It was a great first day, hope you enjoy.

The gyoza place is called Benriya (べんりや)in Sakaemachi Arcade (堺町)

  1. When I was a young girl I would walk with my obaachan (grandma) to Sakaemachi with her as she shopped for certain food items you wouldn’t typically find at the grocery store. Although most stores were closed at this time I thank you for taking me ‘through’ your path way to be able to see and rem for fresh fish or odds and ends of things you wouldn’t find at the grocery store.

  2. Tried to edit myself but somehow was unable to… anyways, great to reminisce of a place I once traveled and to see it again through your eyes. Foods looked nice and fresh. Thank you for this capture.

  3. Lucky for you to speak Japanese, I'm sure it made so much easy during trip over there
