With travel bans still ongoing, I decided to make the most of it by exploring my home country, Thailand! This vlog will be one of many as I plan to explore more places in hopes of giving you a more local perspective to traveling in Thailand; some places being popular, whilst others, a little underrated! 🙂

This time, I visited Ayutthaya (อยุธยา). A world heritage site and Thailand’s old capital city when it was known as the Kingdom of Siam. Ayutthaya was known to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, attracting foreigners to sail to the city that was known as the centre for international trade. However, the peaceful, thriving times were short-lived and Ayutthaya gradually fell into ruins. Now, it is an archeological site free for us to roam around, explore and learn about its history. Because of this, Ayutthaya has become one of my favourite places to visit in Thailand – especially since it is only an hour away from Bangkok, making it a great day trip location!

I hope you enjoy this vlog, please leave a like, comment + subscribe!✨

Also, where else around Thailand would you like to see? 💖

  2. Thank you. Another good and relaxing visit. It reminds me my trip here three years ago. This ancient city is beautiful.

  8. Omgg I can't wait to visit Thailand again! I was there last year and visited Ayutthaya. It's such a lovely place definitely worth visiting. I wish I got to visit Chiang Mai.

  9. I was searching content on Ayutthaya on YouTube and stumbled upon your Vlog. Your Voice Over narration is so mesmerising. It attracted me and motivated me to learn and improve mine for my Youtube channel. I am a YouTuber in India and visited Thailand in 2019. Planning to revisit again when the situation improves.
