Visiting the city of Sendai, I attended a professional baseball game–the Saitawa Seibug Lions of Tokorozawa versus the Tohoko Rakuten Golden Eagles of Sendai. Watching how the Japanese enjoy baseball. I was sitting in the same stadium that was damaged so badly in the 2011 Great Tohoko Earthquake but has since been repaired. I love the excitement of the crowd and the very disciplined cheerleading. Almost like back home, but yet so Japanese.

The crack of the bat needs no translation to understand what it means to both fan and player
When I tell folks about why I'd love to visit Japan, they ask why? The #1 reason is (I tell them) is to attend a ML baseball game.
