How to Order Ramen in Japan (even if you don't speak Japanese) | Japan Video Travel Guide
In Japan you almost never order ramen by talking to a waiter. It’s usually done through an automated ticketing machine, and they’re not often in English. Here’s how to order ramen in Japan even if you don’t speak Japanese!
My question is now; what's the 'proper' way to eat ramen? We were wondering this last night eating ramen in Kanazawa. We've heard slurping is good – means you're enjoying it. And are you meant to eat it all? Because we've also heard you leave a bit in the bowl, so they know you're satisfied. Loving these videos! They are coming in very handy during our trip.
Nice! I love your video.(^^) Many ramen restaurants still don't have English menu in Japan. I hope it's improved. Maybe many staffs there don't speak English well, but please ask them. I think someome will help you. I hope you enjoy ramen in Japan.(*^^*)
I seem to recall having watched a documentary that this chef did touring Japan and the region's local specialties. Either way, this is a great channel. I've subbed and will tell my friends.
