  1. Thank you. I left my family and my homeland to study abroad in another country. I suck at cooking and I miss my mother's cooking. Thanks to you, the only thing I can cook great is japanese rice. You really help the people in my situation. I wish you a great day. 🙂

  8. Tysm I didn’t know how to store my cooked rice and it would always end up getting hard and all the moisture in the rice would be gone I just moved to Japan and these are the things I need to know since most Asian countries main source of food is rice I literally se it in everything here in Japan.

  9. Hello Yoshisimi-san, thank you for this video. I've been cooking Japanese rice more than 5 times using your method and it turned out so well! Arigato!!

  10. So I wanted to prepare my lunch with this recipe and it worked awesome. One small problem I had was I couldnt get the specific Rice you mentioned and I use my own rice (Persian White Rice) and it turned out a bit dry. So I guess I'll make another batch later and add more than 1cup of water (cuz our traditional recepie uses about half a cup more and I think it's bcuz of the rice itself) or I prolong the soaking part.
Anyway it was a great video thanks thanks thanks 😋

  11. Hi , I have a question, can I cook a short grain Brown rice in the same way? Is the water ratio the same? Thanks in advance!
