History
In 988, when Ryosuke Shonin built the halls of Enkyoji Temple, he enshrined Gyuto Tenno in the direction of the demon’s gate. In the Edo period (1603-1868), the Toda clan, which was under the control of the Tokugawa shogunate, held this area and was revered by the Yoshiwara, Iwai, and Suzuki clans.
