Hiroo Town is located in the southernmost part of the Tokachi region with a population of about 6,300.
The town’s industries are fishing, agriculture and dairy.
Previously, the railway (Hiroo Line) passed to Obihiro, but it was abolished in 1987.
This time, I took a walk from the bus terminal built on the site of Hiroo Station, the terminal station of the Hiroo Line, toward the center of the town.
