  1. Looks sorta like the sugar cookies my mother made when we lived on a dairy farm where I grew up. And we have a convince I the middle of no where in south central New York state..finding good food can be a full time job..

  2. I’d love to go to Hokkaido, but I heard transportation can be challenging, compared to Tokyo

  3. Even though that i didn’t saw this from the start i still appreciate this 🙂Those freshly baked melon pans looked so delicious😋! Thank you for sharing guys 🙂👍!!!

  4. I can't wait to stop by and get fresh melon pan when I go to Nemuro. I miss good melon pans so much. Will definitely be getting éclair melon pan too! Both look deeeeelish! 🤤 Thanks for all the great sceneries!!

  5. Freshly baked bread is definitely worth driving for. I’m going to microwave a slice of bread so I can create some fake fresh bread aroma.

  6. I love how you guys are just real. Mistakes and everything. It makes me feel like I'm hanging out with friends just enjoying the conversation. Love the video 🙂
I'm really enjoying following you guys along on your road trip.

  7. Excited for the documentary – looking forward to the big enjoy. The melon pan looks delicious.

  8. Video 👍📸. Time stamp 25:111 Seagulls practicing there aim to hit car’s homes human’s to including YouTubers. The shrine ⛩ was right before 7/11 store . Name of the city and town as again 🙏 type of place I could live as well or one of area’s before you get there 👍📸🇯🇵⛩

  9. John, you've featured that convenient mart so often I almost feel obligated to go to Nemuro to eat from there!

  10. I wonder how many people call ahead to a convenient store and say we are from Tokyo coming all the way to have melopan, maybe that's why he didn't charge lol the store is famous now because of you right

  11. Hi, the fresh bread looked awesome. So did the yakitori. Are you able to provide the location of the local supermarket, via Google map? Take care, John and Peter, as you continue on your journey.

  12. Thanks, looks like you are both having a ball. Can’t wait for John to take to riding more, even if it’s a more powerful scooter.

  13. I am enjoying your journey. It feels that I am in the RV with you. The melon pan looked scrumptious. The yakitori looks good too. Erin Gray was Wilma Deering in Buck Rogers. PvG will be mooing in Lake Akan.

  14. Loving fresh bread and all but with Japanese bakeries I have the Problem that the smell is so weird that it makes me feel ill ….
Japanese bread is really bad in my opinion.

Probably because I am German and we have soooo many different and good bread unlike this weird sweet rubber stuff they call bread ^^V
Not like I eat a Melon pan now and then but its more like a weird dessert then a bread to me.

(when in Japan I usually either look for a German Bakery or get Indian Naan bread)

  15. John I want you to know I woke up and this was the first video of the day to watch. My stomach is growling and here you guys are eating this wonderful bread lol. All I have is a cup of coffee, got a busy day ahead of me

  16. Interesting that these places still have overhead power lines, especially as they get nasty storms there, don't they? The overhead lines look so bad and it looks like you are travelling back in time. 🙂

  17. One thing i was always disappointed about in japan was the mock cream they seemed to use in most desserts, crepes and eclairs, and that melon pan eclair you got! It’s nice and all but just can’t compare to real fresh cream! Maybe it’s down to the lactose intolerance levels in japan 🤔

  18. so jelly ;_; i had fresh melonpan in Tsukushima last time I was in Tokyo. I miss it so much.

  19. This convenience store has a better bread selection than my grocery store and the melonpan cost the same price as one mediocre doughnut..
