This is a re-uploaded video commemorating the 4th year the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror closure at California Adventure. The Tower of Terror was closed on January 3rd to make way for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout Attraction.
I miss riding this so much and my first time riding this was when I was in 1st grade!!!
I miss this!
I really miss this. If I would create a Disney theme park I would call it Disneyland 39 and make this tower of terror version stay there and also include Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge that includes Rise of the Resistance.
They screwed up changing the theme. Same with California Screaming
God, I loved that ride.
And they destroyed it for a cheap, jokey “Guardians of the Galaxy” overlay that will be forgotten in less than a decade.
One of my favorite things about this ride was this really cool yet subtle effect in the preshow. When you watched the intro on the little tv, all the audio sounded like it came from the tv up until the very end, right before the lights came back on. That last bit of the music that played suddenly surrounded you. Just one more subtle trick to suddenly change you from watching the story to being a part of the story.
2:40 the one guy: the kitchen 🤣
This ride was truly something special. It was different from the rest of disneyland'z vibes. No princesses or superheroes. Thats what made it special. It was the one ride that separated kids from adults. The "yeah this year i think im finally ready to ride it" attraction. It just doesnt feel the same with all the screens and stuff the guardians of the galaxy version offers.
🤣🤣🤣 the kid said what the F! My favorite ride ever!!!
thank god they got rid of this and replaced it with something that MATTERS! love me some batman!
Hi
When I ride it in Paris, I was more scared of the queue than the ride itself haha
I wish that this was still at California Adventure. The last time I was there I was so upset when it was being turned into something for Gaurdian's of the Galaxy because I was never into that.
i miss this but honestly i still love guardians
Welp it's officially been 4 years (Jan 2) since I've ridden this perfection
Luckily, I have been on this version of Tower of Terror a few times at Disney California Adventure Park back in October of 2014.
I get goosebumps and butterflies in my stomach just by watching the video 😂 it’s like my body remembers how it feels to be on that ride
