A new park was opened in front of the train station, so I took a walk.

In the Edo period, we established a place to tell the history of Kanazawa Ward, which was the precincts of Toshogu and its Betsutoji temple, and opened it as “Kanazawa Hakkei Gongenyama Park”.

Behind the park is Mt. Gongen and Mt. Miise, a “Natural monument designated by Yokohama City”, and it is a park with abundant nature where you can enjoy autumn leaves. The former Entsuji Temple, which is said to have been built in 1802 and features a thatched roof, has been designated as a “Yokohama City Specified Landscape Formation Historical Building” and will be open to the public.
