On the 10th October 2017, I took a bus from Narita Airport to Sakura No Oka for plane spotting. Before I got onto the bus, I double checked that planes are using 34L for landing and takeoff. Unfortunately, when I arrived at Sakura No Oka there was a runway change..

Luckily, two friendly Japanese men drove me to Sakura No Yama where I could do plane spotting for planes using runway 16R.

  1. Awesome compilation! The Jetstar Japan spider man livery and ANA star wars were my faves but I loved every single clip! Liked

  2. Great video as always! I'm assuming you were at the spot near the Marroad hotel? I am staying there in December and plane to visit this spot, as well as the observation decks.

  3. Greatz! lol I was checking to see if any of those Delta 767s were flying to/from pdx; none were 🙁

I just have one simple question that how do you actually go to that spot – the 桜の山
I heard that it is hard to get to there by public transit so can I ask how did you actually got there.

  7. Who else is watching this in 2020 when Delta is no longer serving NRT. 🙁 Back in those days (2011 times), they served Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, Honolulu, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Busan, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Guam, Palau, and Saipan.
