yeah i do, last month Caribbean Airlines had two back to back charters on the 737-800 but them was during working time for me :), i have a friend in St Martin who has one dem scanner thing to listen to ATC they does give me heads up on incoming flights ๐
when I saw this on the flight plan, I was really hoping they would have done a flyby in my area unfortunately they didn't. whats strange was that the flight came again yesterday (Wednesday) but I wasn't available
from what i saw on flightstats and flightsim, this flight came from Newark and departed to Punta Cana, it seems the return was to pick back up those special people because it came back from Punta Cana and then returned to Newark Yesterday Wednesday ๐
Oh, I see… I think if we actually had a service the 737-700 would fit nicely. a couple years back my cousin told they use to fly here but the service wasn't as demanding and the airline was continental at the time
Continental in St Kitts, and i never herd about that hmmmm i gots to look into that lol, like back in 2003 and 2004 the only 737-700 service i new about was BWIA they had a short live service to New York on that plane, during my high school days ๐
I don't think a 737-700 was doing the service for Continental back then but, such a service was probably done when the airport was called Golden Rock but, since it was years ago I can't remember everything word for word
The ramp still has plenty more space where they eye cannot see, to the left of the terminal the apron is wider and bigger and is capable of parking 6 wide body jets :), its just that we do not get much traffic to utilize the space so mostly private jets are over there :). Don't Underestimate the 737-800 they got range on them lol. Air Canada has seasonal flights on the A319 between Toronto Canada and St Kitts and that's an even further journey at near 5 hours ๐
kool vid…United is awesome. My cousin works at United and strong posibility she was on that flight, usually does those special/charter flights outta EWR.
Reminds me of the airport lounge we use to have in Bermuda before it was closed.ย The lounge was a great area to watch people arriving and departing as well as seeing the planes.ย Like many things those days are now long gone.ย There is talk of a new airport terminal being built in Bermuda at this time so we will have to see what develops.
