Recently, many people have asked me,

”I want to see your village!”

What’s your village’s scenery like, what kind of shops are there, what are the people like??

So, today I would like to take you on a tour of my village from my house, while riding my bamboo bike.

  1. What a beautiful village!!! You have everything you need there. The Japanese countryside is breathtaking. Thanks so much for the tour!

  2. What a beautiful place. So lush and traditional. The mountains and the rivers are beautiful. $1.50 for petrol is cheap. I’m paying $1.80 Canadian.

  3. This is my favourite videos of yours so far! I love the storybook format and your filming style was really entertaining.

  4. Such a beautiful village. Thank you for sharing ❤ would love to see it one day

  5. Beautiful tour Aki. Thank you. I wanted to be there with you during the tour. When we say’bamboo’ in English… the ‘a’ in the first syllable gets a little drawn out … more authentic… baaam-bu.

  6. I live in a large Japanese city, so it is always so refreshing when I can escape to the countryside. It is a totally different experience. I love it. Keep posting! Your videos are great.

  7. That seems like a very comfortable village to live in! It is a shame that there are less and less children to enjoy it as the years go on. I grew up in a small lake town in the US and it’s mostly elderly people living there now, the families have moved closer to the city where there are big factories and offices.

  8. thank you for the mini-vacation. You live in a beautiful spot and i'd like to visit places like this. Thank you for an amazing video! Peace😊

  13. I really love a village that looks like this, but as a black person I'm worried for racist Japanese people in these parts of Japan. Is it safe to visit?

  14. Lovable, the village is really adorable with local stores and grocery stores, great rivers, friendly people, that brings a lot of quality of life and joy

  15. I found your channel recently and I love it so much. They are so calm and cozy and your Village is so magical! Wish you all the best!

  16. Verry nice village I must say. Quite modern as well. Thank you for sharing. I was wondering if you could do a video about your experience living in a shared house. The pros and cons of living in a shared space versus alone

  17. Great video! Fuel in Ireland costs over 2€ a litre now. It is so expensive. I'm curious as to do you drink alcohol?

  18. You have a beautiful village and it reminded me somehow of the Japanese series I watched on Netflix called Old Enough.

  19. I usually do not comment on videos, but Matcha Sensi is one of my favorite Youtubers. The pure energy and good vibes that you bring with each video is amazing!!!! I would love to come and meet you one day.

  20. oh my God cycling BACK up that hill…! what a great tour of your village. One of the (many) things i love about your videos is how you project such joy in everything. not taking anything for granted. it's a great reminder and a real "upper" for the spirit! thank you for posting!

  21. Salutations Aki. Your presentation skills are extremely enjoyable: your friendly style makes your videos highly entertaining. I'm also enjoying learning about life in Japan.

  23. loved this episode. would love to see more videos about your japanese countryside, towns, meals, culture, festivals, day in your life, japanese schools, etc. thank you so much. you are a very likeable person.

  24. I watched your video yesterday and I thought: he read my mind! I really wanted to know where you live because it seemed a very beautiful place to settle roots! I work for an education Japanese company and I started to watch your videos to know more about the culture. You inspired us to learn more about Japan and next week my husband and I will start Japanese classes! My kids are bilingual so we'll wait a little bit more to introduce them to Japanese but hopefully, in a few years, there will be four people speaking Japanese as a second language at home and who knows? Maybe we'll visit you there! PS: Loved the reference to My friend Totoro. The kids loved the movie, we watched it last year with them.
