  1. thank you for this video! You make all the food look so delicious, will you be doing a new hong kong food video soon?

  2. It's weird how she pronounces everything correctly but decided to do the western, butchered "yum cha" pronunciation

  3. Your favourites are almost same as mine. You missed seafood and claypot rice.

  4. "Hong Kong is a foodies paradise". Wow. Let me tell you, it's not.
    "Hong Kong has some of the best street food in the word". It doesn't.
    I live in Hong Kong and food here, in general just sucks. I feel so frustrated sometimes. They manage to mess up even pastas. I really don't get where they get their palate from and why is it like this…
    I love Korean and Japanese food and they even manage to butcher that in most restaurants. Jesus.
    You can call me small-minded or whatever but I have tried most things in this video. I have tried food from all over the world and all cuisines have amazing dishes but Hong Kong's food scene is very mediocre.

  5. Amazing! The food looks great, you explain everything clearly, being positive, too. Nice remembering my previous visits to the btfl. HKG. Looking fwd. to returning! Were the food names in Mandarin or in Cantonese?

  6. I am in toronto I go to congee queen for congee and yummy lobster I am 10 congee queen there is a fish congee

  7. Even though my parents migrated to Australia from Hong Kong around 20 years ago,we still love Hong Kong’s variety of food. We live in Prince Edward when we visit our grandparents and downstairs there is a wonton shop and we love going there everyday as well as going to ‘Dai Ga Lot’!

  8. Brief and concise but chock full of excellent recommendations. Subscribed!

  9. Thanks for this in depth video. Planning my lesson for kids to be Hong Kong ambassadors and the next lesson is on Cantonese Foods. This will be a great prep video for my kids!

  10. Never understood the appeal of gai daan jai. I find them boring and unsatisfying, but I know lots of people love it.

  11. So many food and choices. I couldn't pronounce any of them. I'll just go to McDonalds. I love the street food. We don't see that in the United States.

  12. I'll have to resort to the Michelin guide. There are so many stands and vendors to choose from.

  13. Thank you. I used your video to introduce the Hong Kong's favourite foods to my student today. Nice video and lovely V.O.😻

  14. Is the vegetarian/vegan scene big in HK? It seems like almost everything is meat ;_;

  15. Hong Kong is one of my favourite cities in the world! And this food video is one of the most significant videos for those who want to know about Hong Kong street foods.

  16. You covered most of my favourite but one important thing you missed out mentioning is "price", i think it would be great if you include the price to make it more interesting. BTW, are you an Aussie?
