I travel for new experiences, destinations and as travelers often comment, a cruise is the easiest way to accomplish all this. Unpack once and enjoy. But…more than 50% of my “enjoyment” …okay, 90%…depends on the food quality.
Not gourmet cuisine but a wide variety of food that allows cruise guests to sample something new and different and then not eat if not to their taste since all is included in the cruise. L’Austral had wonderful food, particularly in the dessert department, my favorite part of a meal.
Don’t watch this video if you are hungry. Marine Steve and I drooled on the computer during editing. Yum…

I gained 5 lbs. watching this Sheila. Thanks for posting. Wonderful!
Looks amazing
Wow. Pretty phenomenal food selection, Sheila! That's my kind of traveling. A far cry from when the guy was cooking you dinner in a camp out in the wilderness!
wow, wow, wow, wow, and wow… and your voice over makes it all too tempting not to resist any of those desserts…..
Is it only a buffet?
I actually find this adulation of food quite off putting.
Looks out of this world!
Americans may find some of it difficult. The French do not add salts, sugars, preservatives, and genetically modified things to their food that we do in America which will be difficult for those of us who already have mutated taste buds.
