Here's a cooking chanel from a Vietnamese, Helen's Recipe. She can speak English and she really loves traditional food. If you have time and interest in more delicious vietnamese food, you can visit her chanel. Most of them are quite simple but specialities. The most important is that, the food she makes are more safe than the food on the streets in Vietnam, but still delicious in the same. Seeing you guys ate a lo of street food like that makes me very worry, whether you are still fine (luckily, you guys are all ok now). If you have chance to visit Vietnam again, please bring some medicine in case you have stomachache 🙁
I really love your chanel and in love with Japanese food, especially Japanese noodles and your mother's recipes. I'm also interested in Hawaiian food that you've presented, example Loco Moco. Thank you so much for showing me how enjoyable and wonderful the food and cooking are! Thanks to you guys that I have inspiration for making more delicious dishes and I'm enjoyable myself. I hope that you guys would never stop your love of food and cooking ( and your creativeness, too). Wish you all the best!
checked out of this video a bit late, but your traveling videos are just awesome. I just love your expression so much xD Please do a ton more xDDD
As a viet that is raised in America and having visited there a couple times, I honestly don't want to have to go back there loool (have to pay relatives there a visit). Too hot and humid, more rude people than there are nice, not safe, not clean, too stressful environment (there are too many thieves and pickpocketers as well as people ripping you off being a foreigner), and most of all… Too many prejudice people there. The reason why the market is overpriced is because you're foreigners that don't know their price and can't speak their language. I have to go with my auntie who's lives there to get the REAL prices of the products which are multiple times cheaper. I tell the truth when it comes to this place.
Aww I feel for Satoshi. My first time was very stressful too because finding the right directions was already difficult since they have so many confusing streets but it made me tougher as days passed!
You must walk with authority when crossing the streets, kind of like you own the place. I miss the hectic and crazy sounds and honking actually. Its such a different world with new possibilities for food.
it is so weird, when ever the tourist come to Ho chi Minh city to visit China town they are all come to Binh Tay market, this is a misguide from the Government, actually this area you are visiting is1/30 area only compare to whole Chinese living area,I live at the area 11 District about 3KM from this market, there is a name called 中山門 in my area .Where I live 98%Chinese from Guangdon, Guangxi, Fujen, Chaozhow , Kerjia Hainan, even from Shanghai. Currently, the area you are visiting there are not many Chinese living here now,70% of them leaved settled to other countries.
What a nightmare… you should have received t-shirts with "I survived vietnamese streets" printed on them or something like that.
Ahaha looks like Manila….have not visited Philippines for 18 years now since I moved to Australia xD I would not be able to cross ahahaha
I don't know how you managed to get through this trip without freaking out. I am sorry but if I was there and it was like that, someone would have gotten their feelings hurt. Crowds are not my thing and people trying to run over me, oh heck no. I am glad you came through unscathed. Valuum would have been my friend on that trip. Sorry but I got upset just watching poor Satoshi cross the street, and I am at home in my bed, a year latter. Sorry to rant but I was upset you guys had such a hard time. JC
wow , japanese speaking English in Vietnam ?????????????????? butr they dont speak English in japan ????????????????????
It would be nice for a complete estimate for the whole trip.
I was ill for much of this period, so I'm only now viewing your Vietnam videos … The sound was difficult to follow, so I thought I would take advantage of the "CC" to hilarious results(?) : )) eg:*
–… bad ass —, therefore, *I just HAD TO keep it on! LOLWow ! That was exhausting to watch I am sure ya were drained after that.
Thanks for sharing your adventures, I love your content. I am a pretty new subbie and hopped back here after a binge watching your vids. 💚
