The Iwanai Gorge or “Iwanai Senkyo” in Obihiro City is situated at the foot of the Hidaka mountain range. It is a famous spot for autumn leaves which reach their peak in mid-October. From the large suspension bridge, you can enjoy a view of the Iwanai River flowing through the gorge below. This place is also the venue for the Iwanai Senkyo Momiji Festival.
