Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. It was the second most visited city in the world in 2019.

Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 for World Expo exhibition held in Paris. We went to the summit of the tower. We also watched the Eiffel Tower light in the evening.

Louvre is the largest art museum in the world. Therefore Louvre is one of the most visited museums in the world which is visited by around 15,000 tourists per day. Louvre museum was established in 1793 which is now home to around 380,000 objects and 35,000 artworks. In Louvre, you can see paintings of world famous artists such as Michelangelo and Raphael. Portrait of Monna Lisa created by Leonardo da Vinci is also exhibited at the Louvre.

Arc de Triomphe is one of the main attractions in Paris. It was built to commemorate the deceased during French Revolution and other conflicts.

We also visited Paris new city. It is about 30 minutes journey from Eiffel Tower by Metro. Best way to travel within Paris is public transport.
