It looks nice but it's very busy, very crowded. In the south west of France, in Normandy or Brittany, we have some very beautiful villages and towns but it's not crowded like this even in summer season.
Tropea and its surroundings are certainly among the most beautiful and renowned places in Calabria!
I, on the other hand, find myself on the Ionian side of the region and precisely in the vicinity of another renowned locality which is Soverato and the nearby "costa degli aranci" which goes north to Copanello (where an excellent coffee, the Guglielmo, is produced!) Pietragrande and Caminia in one of the few rocky contexts in the area.
