Located at Yasukuni Shrine Mitama Matsuri is one of the largest Obon festivals in Tokyo with over 30,000 lanterns. This summer festival is to celebrate the spirits of the dead, and there are performances, food booths, and those oh so Instagram worthy lantern shots.

I know this is an old movie but at 22:49 the sound cuts off and doesn't return until 27:15, so we don't hear the dance performance at all.
Thanks I would've had took a lantern with me home see all of those lanterns I would had took 3 lanterns for real nice lantern festival. Love it this is one of my favorite videos.
