The 2018 Grand Tsukemen Fest is just over a month away!

Bubuka is one of the shops that will be participating in this year’s event. I went to their main shop in Kichijoji to check them out. Thick noodles in an oily, flavorful seasoning sauce.

They will be at the event October 4th-10th. The entire event runs 4 weeks, with 9 different shops each week. Please come by. I will be live streaming every Thursday if you are around.

  1. Probably a dumb question. What's the difference between mazesoba and aburasoba, if any?

  2. Hey Brian, I saw that you're coming to New York in November for the ramen school. Let me know if you need someone to hold a camera or make some ramen recommendations out here in the city. Keep up the great work!

  3. This one looks so good! I think someone could spend a year making ramen videos from kichijoji alone.

  4. Here's a practical question: if I want to make ramen at home, without making noodle from flour, what off the shelf brand of noodles should I look for in American Asian grocery store?

  5. Your content has been getting better and better. Blogging like a pro now!
