Birria-Landia is a taco truck in the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens, New York, that is getting praise left, right, and center. The truck, operated by brothers José and Jesús Moreno, specializes in rich, juicy birria, a stew made out of beef and spices, which the brothers use in tacos, tostadas, and mulitas. You can also get a hot cup of consomé, or broth. The best way to eat the tacos is dipping them into the consomé.

Editor’s note: Insider visited Birria Landia in February 2020. The truck is currently open for takeout and delivery daily from 2 p.m. – 11 p.m. Please visit their instagram for more information: https://www.instagram.com/birrialandi

  1. I agree with the man who said the tortilla in NY tacos are sooo bland. I hope to try this place. Los Tacos no.1 are the best NY Taco's I have had so far.

  2. Traffic over there gets mad beacuse of asshole double parking on the streets for more than half hour near the taco truck …

  3. Over here in Southern California, theres a place called El Patron which has some of the best birria tacos and consome ive ever tried.

    Viva Mexico.

  4. Not hard to make. Just make sure you have a good cast iron griddle or pan to make the tacos. I get mine extra crispy.

  5. I love seeing my mexican brothers in the US having some of the recognition they deserve. Even Anthony Bourdain praised mexican cuisine and always said the mexicans working in his kitchen had the best taste

  6. I'm from the LA area but it brings me joy that our food is spreading everywhere. Enjoy the great taste of Mexican food
