BALI has nothing on North Lombok!



In this video we explore the North of Lombok, visiting two of the most famous waterfalls in Lombok, Indonesia. Tiu kelep waterfall, and Sendang Gile waterfall. We then go up to the mountains in Lombok near Mount Rinjani to Bukit Selong and visit this beautiful viewpoint with views of Pergasingan Hill and Sembalun village.

    beautiful! you went to the best spots in Lombok 😉
    bukit selong! i mentioned Pergasingan Hill in your last video and that was the hill looking straight from bukit selong, it's a bit higher but also get that awesome view over the fields 🙂

    you are guys are hilarious though, what a great umbrella! also that's funny those tunnels actually lead back too but not to the last waterfall 🙂

    on the north lovina beach of Bali you can see a group of dolphins jumping in the sea, but you have to wake up at 6 am at sunrise and rent a boat to go to the dolphin spot,,, stay overnight at a hotel in the lovina area later you will be offered

    I've been saying for years that Lombok is more beautiful than Bali. The 2 waterfalls are Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep. Also went on a hike around Mount Rinjani with those incredible views

    Learn some culture while you travel and stop being a cheapskate once in a while! You should not advise people not to use a guide just because you want to save money. An experience guide may show you things that are endemic to the country or little things or stories that you cannot find in guidebooks.

    Why do you keep bashing Bali when you have visited very few places there? Bali is highly rated and won top awards by travellers in surveys not because it has the best beach or waterfalls or other natural sights. It is because it offers the best combination of unique architecture, natural sights with religious traditions, thriving art and crafts, not to mention world class hotel interior design and landscaping.

    You have not shown any cultural aspect of Lombok which is a far cry from Bali. There are dozens of waterfalls in North and Central Bali with temples and stone carvings that adorn the natural wonder of their waterfalls. This is something that you can only find in Bali and not anywhere else in Indonesia.

    if you are still on the island of Lombok then visit the traditional village of Sade, one of the traditional villages of the Sasak tribe which is the original tribe of the island of Lombok

    Take the guide and support the locals, they need this after lockdown. Eur 12 is nothing for you when you can travel that far and the guide can feed his family 1 day for that amount. Not taking guides is selfish.
