With Japan accepting tourists again, how can you actually get your visa? And can you even afford the price?
In this video, I reached out to a tour agency and got some genuinely shocking answers to my questions.

they can take their "guided" tours and stick them…… 🙂 you can clearly see how well their border closing is working looking at their case numbers :))
I think Japan has lost it, it's beyond ridiculous, who on earth is going to do this?? Keep it up Japan and you will eventually fade from our consciousness. Good to the point vid. Cheers.
I'm more annoyed now than I was this morning lol
Thank you for this Bossman. We are coming to Japan in sept (end of sept) – Oct but if these rules stay in effect. F*** daT! Im going to Hawaii
That’s enough for me to backpack across Japan for nearly an entire year or more… lol *the most expensive package of course.
Absolutely ridiculous, there is no chance of me doing one of these tours.
Thanks for another Video Jesse, all these rules are so infuriating
where did you find this expectation of visa free travel for september?
Somehow this reminds me of North Korea.
Good insightful video, especially the last hopeful part about the possible easing soon. Now it’s a matter of getting over this current Covid wave
I wouldn't take a tour, that's not the way I like to travel. But IF I did, I'd probably pay up to $1500
When do you think Japan will open up to all tourists?
So as long as you stay near the tour guide, COVID19 isn't contagious? Seems legit.
So Japan is only open to those that are very rich.
I saw another video from a highly subbed YouTuber in Japan and they explained that the tour weren’t as restricted as you say.
The part where you said Japanese can take off their masks outdoors but the tourists cannot, total bs and very discriminatory, Japan still thinks we the tourists, the Gaijins are the ones that brings in the viruses. To be honest we are the ones(the tourists) that should be afraid of going to Japan, Japan is a lot worse than where I'm from, the United States, not the other way around.
Why hasn’t the Japan embassy of the UK mentioned anything regarding tours? I literally assumed we were free to visit Japan until I stumbled across your video.
The tour company I am going through quoted me about $200 a day for the entire group (not per person) completely customized. In regards to the visa I would check with your local embassy, here in FL we have the option of doing a mail in for our visa instead of in person appointment.
