Step into the shoes — or rather, rubber boots — of a sake brewer during this sake brewing experience in Saku, Nagano. Saku is a village that’s home to 13 different sake breweries, including some very historic sites which date back 300 years. Stay at a guesthouse adjacent to one of these sake breweries and work side-by-side with sake brewers, not only learning about the sake brewing process but also participating in tasks such as washing the rice and massaging the cooked rice with koji.
