That red spot on my face? I blame the convinience of 7/11 and other Japanese ‘conbini’ convinience stores…and their delicious snacks… 🙂 Anyway, I saw snow for the first time in Japan! 😀 And on that same day, I went to Nara with my host family which looked like a Winter Wonderland to someone who had never seen snow before…plus, Nara Park has some cool deer…extra cool when they are in the snow ;)…. /bad joke. After playing with some deer I check out a giant Buddha/Daibutsu and try and climb through its nostril…

  1. LOL very nice! I actually acted that same way my first day of snow when I lived in Tokyo. ^^ Oh how I love Nara!! Hope you had a great time and the deer treated you well! ^o^

  2. At least you didn't get a 大凶 😛

  4. I haven't seen snow before either (also from Australia, wooohoo) I can't wait to see some when I go to Japaaann :DDD

  5. Your host families house it so pretty. Also, where I live in America the snow was almost 3' or 91.44 cm. It was awesome to look at but not to shovel.

  6. It doesn't snow very much in Texas, but when it does I get super excited!…. Until I play in it for 6 hours…. Then I remember why I dislike it x3 and do it again the next day
