Welcome back to Sasebo, Japan! If you are stationed in Sasebo with the US Military at the Naval Base (Fleet Activities Sasebo) then you know rainy season can be a bit of a drag. Today we are going through some fun things to do in and around Sasebo during rainy season. With rain comes lush greenery, beautiful flowers, and the best waterfalls you can see in Japan! Come travel with me and see all these fun activities that are only about 30-40 minutes from Sasebo. Some of these are in Saga Prefecture but others are in Nagasaki Prefecture. So if you’re asking yourself “What should I do in Sasebo?!” see the pins below for the flower and waterfalls!
Living in Sasebo and life in Japan as a foreigner can be hard and isolating, but I promise you aren’t alone. This daily life in Japan vlog (or day in my life) will give you some fun ideas of things you can go do with your friends or even on your own. The drive is absolutely beautiful and in the end it’s important to just get out and enjoy life in Japan as much as you can!

My little family will be moving to Sasebo next year, we were excited already but your videos have really added to our excitement! Thank you for sharing such beautiful locations!
Would you ever consider making a video on the military moving process to Japan? Hard to figure out exactly where to get started 😅
Another lovely video! Me and my wife watched while waiting for a bus to go hiking. I keep hoping for a rainy day to do a rain hike but it has been very dry so far. But actually the rain usually comes near the end and sometimes does incredible amounts of damage to the hiking trails. Thanks for doing what you do!
I love the beautiful view you sharing , thank you for your time
ended up marrying a local girl there! culture is great
