You can take a bus (40 minutes) or taxi (30 minutes) from the station. The entrance fee is 1000 yen. To use the chair lift is another 500 yen. The umbrellas you can borrow for free! Tambara Lavender Park is open from July to August, but the best time to view lavender is mid-July to mid-August. It’s open 7 days a week during this time, 8:30AM to 5:00PM.

  1. There’s nothing that epitomizes the appeal of Tambara Park more than the purple rows of lavender that cover the landscape every Summer. The lavender fields of Tambara Lavender Park represent a change of seasons, a ripening of the earth, and a time where life slows to the mercy of the sun’s strong rays. The idyllic landscape around the field of Tambara Lavender Park in Gunma Prefecture, Numata City is truly a breathtaking sight to behold! It’s a perfect place to stroll while breathing in the refreshing and calming scent of lavender flowers and admiring the vibrant field covered in purple. Thanks, Mochi Mochi My for virtually taking us to Tambara Lavender Park.

  2. Lavender is not just soothing to the eyes but to the nose as well, and the music you chose is soothing to the ears too. The lavender color looks so lively with green, and the bright red hydrangeas and bright yellow sunflowers are so brilliantly vibrant. As always, these beautiful flowers are made even more amazing by your magnificent skills. Love, love, love this! And, I love you, My! Love and hugs! 💙💕
