今回は、石狩市を縦断する国道231号線（オロロンライン）沿いにある「厚田海浜プール」を紹介。
札幌中心部から車で約1時間程度の距離にある厚田海浜プールは、2009年に石狩市厚田区にオープンした海水浴場。
防波ブロックに囲まれており、遠浅の砂浜と穏やかな波が特徴の海水浴場で、小さなお子様連れでも安心して楽しめます。
監視時間内はライフセーバーも常駐。180台収容の駐車スペースがあり、トイレ・シャワー・更衣室も完備されているので快適にお過ごしいただけます。
また海水浴だけでなく、デイキャンプやバーベキューも楽しめるため、開設期間中は地元だけでなく近郊から多くの方が訪れる人気スポットです。
今年の開設期間は8月21日（日）まで。
天候に恵まれた夕暮れ時には、水平線に向かって沈んでいく夕日が日本海を美しく染める絶景に出会えます。

Introducing “Mt. Hakodate,” which is a mountain at the western end of the city of Hakodate, Hokkaido, and is famous as a tourist destination.
The altitude is 334m and the circumference is about 9km. It is also called Gagyuzan because it looks like a cow lying down.
It is also characterized by the proximity of 3 minutes by ropeway to the mountaintop, and its exquisite height and sense of distance can overlook the city and the harbor.
Many people enjoy the night view and the superb view.
In addition, there are highlights in each of the four seasons not only in the night view but also in the daytime view.
Autumn is a season when you can often see far away because there are many sunny days and the air is clear. In winter, you can enjoy a competition with snow and illuminations. In the spring when the sea of clouds spreads and in the summer when the fog appears, a fantastic view may appear from the gap.
Today, it is known as a tourist attraction that represents Hakodate, but since it was used as a fortress from the Meiji era to 1945, it is still a place where traces of war such as batteries remain.
