EVA is the best no frill 5-star airline. No over the top stuff like you would get on the Middle Eastern and Singapore airlines but all the good food, amenities and cleanliness you'll need

They provide you with a pillow and blanket for 3 hours, something which a carrier like American wouldn't even do on an 8 hour flight
